Volunteer Opportunities at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault
Volunteers are a valuable asset to MyMichigan Health. The presence and the assistance they provide enhances the quality of care we offer our patients and families. There are a variety of areas where volunteers can serve, and we are always seeking new areas of assistance. If you have a desire to help, we have a place for you.

Volunteer Programs at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault

General Volunteer Program
Any adult interested in giving back to their community can volunteer. There are a variety of areas in which to serve.
Program Requirements
- Must be over the age of 18 and a high school graduate
- Willing to commit to a minimum of 6 months
- Complete the General Volunteer application
- After your application is received you will be contacted about scheduling an interview, background check, TB testing, and orientation.

Road to Recovery Volunteer Program
The Road to Recovery volunteers (drivers) provide transportation from MyMichigan Medical Center Sault to Petoskey for cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Program Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Willing to drive cancer patients to Petoskey,
- Monday-Friday, generally 8:45 a.m. - 3 p.m. commit to a minimum of 6 months
- Complete the Road to Recovery application
- After your application is received you will be contacted about scheduling an interview, background check, TB testing, and orientation.
